A new flavor of Girl Scout Cookie, highly anticipated for 2023, will be available next month when Girl Scouts USA launches the organization’s cookie season nationwide.
The Raspberry Rally, a thin, crunchy cookie with a raspberry filling and chocolate coating, is an online exclusive that will be available on the Girl Scout Cookies website starting Feb. 27, according to a press release released Tuesday.
The Girl Scouts of the USA previously reported that the Raspberry Rally would make its debut in 2023 in a product announcement that the girl-focused youth organization shared in August 2022.

The Raspberry Rally is joining leading cookie flavors such as Thin Mints, Samoas/Caramel deLites and Peanut Butter Patties/Tagalongs, according to Girl Scouts of the USA.
Thirteen flavors of Scout cookies are currently listed on the organization’s “Discover Cookies” page.

The Girl Scouts of the USA press release states that there are three ways shoppers can find Girl Scout Cookies in 2023.
1. Buyers can contact local councils and Girl Scouts or use the organization’s online “cookie finder” which provides a list of sales stands closest to the buyer’s entry zip code.
2. Buyers may send COOKIES to 59618 as a way to receive updates on availability of Girl Scout cookies and other Girl Scout news.

3. Buyers can order Girl Scout Cookies for delivery beginning February 27th. The website for online ordering is girlscoutcookies.org.

What is the cost of Girl Scout cookies this year?
There are 111 Girl Scout councils across the US, and each council sets its own cookie prices based on needs and knowledge they have of the local market, a spokesperson for the Girl Scouts USA tells FOX Business.
Girl Scout Cookie prices range from $4 to $7 for a single box nationwide.

Some cookies may be priced higher to reflect the cost of production, including the Girl Scouts of the USA line of specialty gluten-free cookies.

The Girl Scout Cookie season runs from January through April, though local weather varies, according to the organization’s press release.
Where does the money go?
Girl Scouts of the USA’s Girl Scout Cookie Program is an enterprise program for registered Girl Scouts.
Proceeds from each cookie sale go to the local troop and council that made the sale, and the money is used to fund Girl Scout programming and experiences, according to the Girl Scouts of the USA.

“Financial literacy is not just a critical skill needed for entrepreneurship, but an essential life skill,” continued Lou.

Girl Scout Cookie program badges earnable throughout the season include the Financial Literacy badge, Cookie Goal Setting badge, and Entrepreneur Accelerator badge.
What else is new for 2023?
The Girl Scouts USA National Sponsor of the 2023 Girl Scout Biscuit Program is Planet Oat Oatmilk, an oat milk manufacturer based in Lynnfield, Massachusetts, under US dairy giant HP Hood LLC.
Chris Ross, senior vice president of marketing and experimental research and development for the brand, released a statement regarding Planet Oat Oatmilk’s sponsorship of the Girl Scout Cookie Program.
